Julian Adams
Director / Creative Director

Starting his career as an art director & designer in advertising for prominent agencies, Julian spends his time today creative directing and directing campaigns in the brand editorial and commercial space. In 2019 at Cashmere Agency, he was creative lead launching Amazon Music’s Rotation with the commercial “Welcome to the House Party”. The acclaimed spot featured 15 artists from the playlist including Teyana Taylor, Ari Lennox, Corde, Mustard, Ella Mae and more. During his time establishing Rotation, he developed and directed editorial content along with laying the foundation for the brands visual center. Working with Laundry Service / Cycle in 2020 he brought AT&T and Druski together to write and co-direct spots for AT&T’s NBA Courtside Concerts featuring Big Sean and 2Chainz.

Throughout 2021, Julian went on to direct editorial campaigns and content for Nike, SNKRS, Jordan, Bodega, and Foot Locker. While at Recess Studios he’s directed episodes for different Nike SNKRS content franchises such as Color of the Month, Behind the Design, and Visionaries. In 2022, to launch the Jordan V DJ Khaled collection, he wrote creative treatments and lead creative direction on the film and photo campaign. As a director, Julian has an ability to bring beauty out of simple moments paired with visual finesse. When creative directing, he brings a vast knowledge of brand creative leading teams of art directors, designers, VFX artists and seeing projects end to end.
